buryat-jewelry-gau-mongolian-guu

The curator of a large private collection of Tibetan, Mongolian and Buryat jewelry is writing a book about the 300 ga’u (Mongolian: guu) boxes in the collection.  She is looking for a ga’u or jewelry expert, who can advise about where ga’u boxes were made & what tribes wore them.

The person must write English and be wired (do email).  She would like to email pictures of ga’u boxes to this expert to be sure her book descriptions are correct.

Please contact her if you are a ga’u or jewelry expert, museum curator, jewelry scholar or knowledgeable collector, who knows about relic boxes and jewelry.  She is also interested in buying more Mongolian or Buryat ga’us and jewelry if it was made before 1920.
